If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a NihonTale subscription within 14 days without giving any reason. This page carries the statutory withdrawal notice and the model withdrawal form. You do not need either of them to withdraw: an informal, unambiguous message to support@nihontale.com is enough, and we confirm receipt without undue delay.

How to withdraw

Send an email to support@nihontale.com saying that you withdraw from the contract, within 14 days of concluding it. Nothing more is required — no reason, no form, no particular wording.

We confirm receipt without undue delay and refund you using the same payment method you paid with, at the latest within 14 days of your message reaching us. You are never charged a fee for the refund.

You get the full amount back. We do not charge you for the days you already used. Premium is unlocked as soon as you order, and if you withdraw within the 14 days we refund everything you paid — the whole subscription price, not a proportion of it.

Sending the message in time is what counts, not when we read it. A message sent on day 14 is in time.

This is the statutory notice pursuant to Anlage 1 to Art. 246a § 1 (2) sentence 2 EGBGB. It is reproduced verbatim and is the authoritative version.

Widerrufsbelehrung Widerrufsrecht Sie haben das Recht, binnen vierzehn Tagen ohne Angabe von Gründen diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen. Die Widerrufsfrist beträgt vierzehn Tage ab dem Tag des Vertragsabschlusses. Um Ihr Widerrufsrecht auszuüben, müssen Sie uns (Maiko Zobel, Holztraubacherstraße 5, 84066 Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg, Deutschland, support@nihontale.com) mittels einer eindeutigen Erklärung (z. Notice of Withdrawal Right of withdrawal You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Maiko Zobel, Holztraubacherstraße 5, 84066 Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg, Germany, support@nihontale.com) by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Effects of withdrawal If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Not the same thing

Withdrawal is not cancellation

Withdrawal undoes the contract entirely and applies for 14 days after you subscribe. Cancellation ends a subscription going forward and is available at any time, for as long as it runs.

To cancel, open “Manage subscription” in your profile — that takes you to our payment provider Stripe, where you can view your subscription, change your payment details, download your invoices and cancel. An informal email to support@nihontale.com works just as well; we confirm every cancellation in text form together with the date it takes effect.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then — you paid for it.
